Recreational Dive Planner Table Metric Pdf Download ^NEW^

There are 13 tables included in this document, one for each percentage between 28 and 40%. These tables include PO2 levels for each depth and still include PO2 values up to 1.6. However all depths where PO2 levels exceed 1.4 are highlighted in yellow and are to be avoided for planning purposes. They are only included in the event a diver exceeds the planned maximum depth. Additionally, there are four tables with dive schedules highlighted in orange (37-40%). These dives exceed the maximum PO2 single exposure limit and should also be avoided.

Letters (pressure groups) CANNOT be swapped (are not interchangeable) between the RDP, USN or any other tables. You can link pressure groups between different versions of the RDP, such as the wheel and the enriched air 32% and 36% recreational dive planner.

1. They are designed for recreational diving and use conservative limits to minimise bubble formation, even at levels that do not cause DCS.2. They were tested using Doppler technology not available when the Navy tables were developed.3. They contain more surface interval times for higher precision.4. They base surface interval elimination on half time that creates a realistic credit for surface intervals.5. The wheel / erdpml makes it possible to calculate multi-level dive times by giving credit for slower nitrogen uptake in shallow water.6. The wheel / erdpml allows the diver to more closely calculate time and depth profiles.

The eRDPML Touch is a version of the eRDPML that divers can use to plan single and multilevel no stop dives on smartphones and tablets. It includes versions optimized for both smartphones and tablets on iOS and Android devices. All versions also include an electronic recreational dive planner with detailed step-by-step instructions as well as practice exercises.

When you start a dive again to a given depth, your Letter Group at that time determines the time representing the residual nitrogen in your body. The tables show you how to subtract this time from the normal dive time limits, which results in a shorter time limit for your repetitive dive. You must add your residual nitrogen time to the time you actually spent diving to determine your total nitrogen time at the end of the dive. You use the total time to determine a new end-of-dive Letter Group. The NAUI dive time calculator is based on the NAUI dive tables, but it eliminates the calculations required to determine Letter Groups when you make more than one dive. The dive time calculator also reduces the errors that are often made when reading dive tables. It is easy to learn how to use a dive time calculator, but you should do this only after you are familiar with the procedures for planning dive time limits using the dive tables. A dive time calculator might not always be available, but dive tables usually are (figure 5-4).

A variety of dive tables, dive time calculators, and dive computers exist. The information they provide varies and some are more conservative than others. Numbers and Letter Groups are not always interchangeable between tables. Always use the type of table, calculator, or computer with which you are familiar. If your dive buddy is using a different type, you should agree to use the most conservative dive planning information.

The NAUI Dive Tables are based on the US Navy Decompression Tables and have been designed specifically for recreational diving (figure 5-6). The tables are designed to flow from one to the other in a continuous loop (figure 5-7).

Underwater activities are risky. The Depth app isn't a dive computer and doesn't provide decompression stop information, gas analysis, or other recreational scuba diving functionality. If you're using Apple Watch Ultra where the failure of the device could lead to death, personal injury, or severe environmental damage, always use a secondary depth gauge and timer/watch. Before going on a dive, be sure that your Apple Watch Ultra is free of cracks or other damage.

Modifying the dive profile: When the cursor is moved around the dive profile, its position is shown by two right-angled red lines as seen below. The time and depth represented by the cursor are indicated at the top of the black information box (@ and D). The units (metric/imperial) on the axes are determined by the Preference settings. The dive profile itself comprises several line segments demarcated by waypoints (white dots on the profile, as shown above). The default dive depth is 15 m. If the dive depth was 20 m then you need to drag the appropriate waypoints downward to 20 m. To add a waypoint, double-click on any line segment. To move an additional waypoint, drag it. Moving can also be done by selecting the waypoint and using the arrow keys. To remove a waypoint, right-click on it and choose "Remove this point" from the context menu. Drag the waypoints to represent an accurate time duration for the dive. Below is a dive profile for a dive to 20 m for 30 min, followed by a 5 minute safety stop at 5 m.

Dive computers tend to keep a certain number of dives in memory, even though these dives have already been imported to Subsurface. For that reason, if the dive computer allows this, Subsurface only imports dives that have not been downloaded before. This makes the download process faster on most dive computers and also saves battery power of the dive computer (at least for those not charging while connected via USB).

Below the three drop downs are up to four shortcut buttons that allow you to easily switch between multiple dive computers that you are frequently downloading from. These buttons only appear once you have downloaded from different dive computers.

If all the dives on the dive computer need to be downloaded, check the checkbox Force download of all dives. Normally, Subsurface only downloads dives after the date-time of the last dive in the Dive List panel. If one or more of your dives in Subsurface has been accidentally deleted or if there are older dives that still need to be downloaded from the dive computer, this box needs to be checked. Some dive computers (e.g. Mares Puck) do not provide a contents list to Subsurface before the download in order to select only new dives. Consequently, for these dive computers, all dives are downloaded irrespective of the status of this check box.

If the checkbox Always prefer downloaded dives has been checked and, during download, dives with identical date-times exist on the dive computer and on the Subsurface Dive List panel, the dive in the Subsurface divelog will be overwritten by the dive record from the computer.

Do not check the checkboxes labelled Save libdivecomputer logfile and Save libdivecomputer dumpfile. These are only used as diagnostic tools when there are problems with downloads(see below).

Important: These check boxes are only used when problems are encountered during the download process. Under normal circumstances they should not be checked. When checking these boxes, the user is prompted to select a folder where the information will be saved. The default folder is the one in which the Subsurface dive log is kept.

Although the Subsurface Bluetooth interface is intended to function without Bluetooth pairing at the operating system level, it is always prudent to follow up initial Bluetooth pairing problems by pairing the Bluetooth dive computer with the Subsurface computer using the operating system services of the desktop computer. Delete all existing pairings and start by scanning for Bluetooth devices from an empty list (on the desktop) of Bluetooth devices. Once Subsurface has recognized the Bluetooth dive computer, subsequent divelog downloads are likely to be simple.

After the devices are paired, press the Save button of the dialog. This closes the Bluetooth dialog. Now select Download in the Download from dive computer dialog which should still be open. The downloaded dives are shown on the right-hand side of the download dialog.

Expanding the dive information even more, the Information tab is used to record environmental information such as water type (usually fresh water or salt water), temperatures, surface conditions and conditions during the dive, e.g. visibility and current. For dives downloaded from a dive computer, water type and water temperature are automatically provided in the Information tab. Some dive computers also provide air temperature and altitude.
