To save your password for the site or app, select Save. If you have more than one Google Account signed in to your Android device, you can choose the account where you want to save the password.
Enter your password again, keeping in mind that Netflix passwords are case-sensitive. Click the arrow on the screen to change between upper and lower case letters. Click Show Password to see your password and confirm it is correct.
I have a number of apps that are not integrated with 1Password. I can associate a website and some apps manage to be associated so that when I click on the 3rd party app's username / password fields then select the passwords button on the bottom of the screen and have the option of iCloud or 1Password. When I select 1Password, log in I am then presented with ALL the passwords and I have to search. Some apps have managed to be recognised in 1Password. How do I add that manually?

Before you dive into anything technical, do a surface level investigation. Are you typing the correct username and password? Instagram usernames begin with an @ symbol but you should not type this out when logging in to your account. Look closely for typos in your handle and make sure everything is correct. After the handle is ready, clear the password field and type your password. Make sure what you are typing is exactly as intended. Instagram passwords are case sensitive. If the log in fails and you are positive the username and password are correct, it's time to try a password reset.
Doing a quick password reset will resolve many login issues. Android and iOS users can select the reset link and have a password reset sequence sent to their email account. The email comes with a link that prompts a reset page where you insert the new password. Choose something completely different from the previous password. Android users can also do this via SMS or simply log in with Facebook to access their Instagram account. If you do not receive the password reset email, you may have a bigger issue. Check your email and all other accounts to make sure you have not been hacked.
You must set a password in order to log into Pocket with a username or email address and to log into any applications that do not have Log in with Google or Log in with Firefox buttons.
If you used Pocket or Read It Later in the past, you may find that your account does not have an email address associated with it. We encourage you to attach your email address so you can reset your password if you forget it. Click here to add a primary email address to your account.
If you have a Read It Later account, you can use your existing username and password to log in to Pocket. There is no need to sign up for a new account. Everything saved in your Read It Later account will be automatically carried over to Pocket.
The watch espn app keeps informing me that it does not recognize my verizon id and password. I have tried numerous times and get the same response. I even changed my password. It obviously works on this site but I can not get into the Watch ESPN offerings.
I can't get into it either. I even went through the steps of changing my Verizon password. It won't accept my username, phone number, password, nothing. I use the same exact information as when I log into Verizon, but it won't work on Watch ESPN or ESPN College Football. They both list Verizon as providers but neither one works. What's up with that Verizon? I really bumped up my mobile phone expenses a couple months ago and being able to connect to things like ESPN was part of the reason. Not very happy with this at all. Makes me wish I had stayed with Cricket.
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH VERIZON WIRELESS as they are not a cable TV provider. If you currently have cable TV service through Verizon Fios, then you can input your Verizon Fios username and password in order to access WatchESPN if your cable package includes ESPN. If you currently have cable service thru another provider and that provider is listed as a participating provider, then you can input your username and password for that provider if your cable package includes ESPN.
Actually, they both list Verizon FIOS TV as providers, not Verizon Wireless. If you currently have your cable TV provided by Verizon Fios, I can confirm that the Verizon Fios username and password DO work to access this service.
Am not a Verizon FIOS customer, just wireless. Downloaded the ESPN app from the App Store, and it shows that live streaming is available in several venues "IF" you are a Verizon customer. Once you select "VERIZON" (emphasis added) it will not recognize your username or password. Even though it advertises "free" streaming from ESPN (clearly enunciated within), it is obviously not. Missed two games while out of the country, and a third game today on ESPN3...needless to say the app has been deleted...

The Office of IT (OIT) requires that passwords used to access any Muhlenberg College system be strong. It is advisable that all passwords used to access any system, even those not associated with Muhlenberg (e.g. Facebook, Google), be strong.
Strong passwords are difficult to guess by either a person or a machine (through brute-force methods). A number of characteristics of strong passwords are listed below. The more one includes in any given password, the stronger it will be.
All Muhlenberg systems can support strong passwords based on the characteristics above. However, some outside systems may not support all of the above characteristics. For example, a system may not recognize case, may have a limit on the number of characters, or may not allow special characters. OIT recommends that in these situations users incorporate as many strong password characteristics as the system will allow.
If you ever receive a request for or notification of an MFA 2nd element without your knowledge, immediately change the password for that service. Such a request or notification indicates someone is trying to access your account, and already has the password.
Using a service to manage your passwords and remember login credentials provides an easy way to incorporate the use of strong, unique passwords. There are many password managers in the marketplace such as LastPass and LogMeOnce. While it is not institutionally required, we highly recommend the use of one. Remembering a long list of strong, unique passwords is not an easy feat. Password managers are a great tool for encrypting your login credentials in a secure location.
