Extraverted Moms with Introverted Kids

How do you navigate the personality differences within your household?

Understanding the extravert who loves social, expressive, gregarious, freely disclosing, speaks to think mom who has the gift of having introverted kids, is a crucial topic of discussion. The reverse narrative of an introverted mom who is territorial, contained, reflective, cautiously disclosing, and thinks to speak with extraverted kids is an equally important conversation.

I recommend TLP - training, love, and practice. We have to make time to understand our personality preferences first and then the personality preferences of others. We could be offending the people we love without ever having a clue.

As an extraverted mom, I am on this journey with you as I navigate the relationship building journey within my own family of nine people and nine personalities every day. We are all important, and how we treat each other matters.

I can think of countless times when my introverted kid was in a public place where I have blurted out something that they did not appreciate me sharing with others. My need to share is a perfect example of my comfort of free disclosure and how it crosses with my introverted kid's preference-for-privacy. Situations like this and many others take TLP - training, love, and practice.

I'm here to support you on your lifelong journey. With over 20 years of practice in supporting companies, universities, entrepreneurs, families, and individuals, the experience of understanding personality types is my passion. It can be a challenging journey, but the investment of learning about personality preferences is priceless. There is no better place to start than the people who love you the most.

So reach out to me for the official Myers-Briggs assessment and professional consultation. I would love to see a world where we all are less frustrated and more fascinated about why people do what they do!
